Instantly, I knew something needed to change in my situation and they were there to help from my very first inquiry. Upon speaking with them, I knew I was currently working with the WRONG lender. Not only was the Teacher Next Door program a MUCH better fit for me personally, but everyone at Peoples Mortgage Company was willing to help and do whatever they could for me at a moment's notice. I spoke with them on the phone 10x more in the span of a few days than I ever did with my former lender over the course of weeks. Jose and Albie walked me through each step, explained everything to me 100+ times, and ultimately made this daunting experience achievable. I never thought I could do this on my own, and the team I had the pleasure of working with at People's Mortgage Company empowered me in a way I cannot explain. Thanks to their tireless efforts and dozens of phone calls, I am now gearing up to move into my first ever home. I wish I had found them before working with another lender but thankfully, my journey began with them at the most crucial time in the home buying process. They truly made the impossible happen and had plan b - z ready to go just in case. I cannot begin to explain the sense of relief and support I have gained from this community. However, Mr. Palomar and Alvie hot me back on track.

More than anything the grammar mistakes in the emails sent by Jose and others on his team have made me feel skeptical of the legitimacy of the company since they first contacted me. Aside from these problems, Jose did hook me up with an awesome realtor, and really did take care of a lot of the heavy lifting for me. As I write this I'm sitting in my new home, and I am very grateful for the help that Peoples has provided in getting me here. |

Sarah Avonlake, OH March 9, 2019 Everything seem to start off fine when I called and inquired information about the TND program.Jose answered my calls and was very attentive when I had questions when I was submitting my information. I submitted my paperwork on 2/20 and called on 2/28 to check on the status of my application and at the time when I called Jose he said " did I get the email and at the time he was on lunch and was going to call me back when he had access to a computer". So I called again the next day to discuss the information on the email that I received and left a voicemail and still till this day my phone call has not been returned. I understand that I'm not the only person that you are taking care of but it shows a lot in a persons character when they can't return you calls or even acknowledge you. I already felt hesitant about sending my personal information to another state and then to go through the experience that I had to deal with.
